JOURNAL / EDITORIAL NOTE
The Value of Simplicity.
Simplicity does not mean absence of character. It can mean deliberate attention to what deserves to remain.

Simplicity is a disciplined choice. It asks what needs to remain after the distractions are removed.
A composition can have energy while using very few visual elements. Careful alignment, strong type and a deliberate photograph may be enough.
The aim is not minimalism for its own sake, but a clearer conversation between idea and reader.
